raining and bored

it's been raining here in massachusetts for almost a week now and still no chance of sunshine for the next three days.

rain means no "gimik", no travelling and no picture taking outside the house... :(

so, i just played with the settings of my new "toy" (nikon d50 camera, heheheh)... and took these pictures inside my room.

another addition to my collection of shot glass. yes, im collecting shot glass of all the places i've been, but i don't use it for drinking(coz im not a drinker, heheheh). others collect stamps, key chains, etc.... as of now, i've already have 48 and still counting... so if you want to give me something, a shot glass will do, heheheheh...

hopefully the weather next weekend will be ok and i can go out to take pictures outside, hopefully boston city...

six flags new england

this is six flags new england in agawam, massachusetts. it's the nearest theme park from our location. since we can't afford to go to disney land in florida or california, we settle for this one, heheheh!!! we did enjoy the rides here, specially all the roller coasters.

this is the "scream" ride. and yes, those are people 60feet from the ground and waiting for a quick drop like a free fall.

batman roller coaster

this one is "back to the future", its like the space shuttle in enchanted kingdom...

this place is great for the whole family. it's common scene to see kids having their picture taken together with the looney tunes characters.

but hey, even the adult can ask for a picture, heheheheh...

you think i flipped this picture? they were really hanging up side down in this ride, the catapult. it rotate 3x clockwise and 3x counter clockwise, and in the transition, you'll be hanging just like that for 2-3 second. all your blood rushing to your head and your body is being pulled down by gravity. but it was fun riding this one... click here for another photo

this is my favorite, the superman ride of steel. the first drop is 221 foot high (20 story building) and you'll experience 10 seconds of weightlessness. this is a mile long ride that takes about 155 seconds and with the top speed of 77mph. the first time i rode this one (2001), we had to wait for an hour in line.

the second time, it took me two hours. the long wait is really worth your time. but last weekend, we were the second group to ride it. as soon as the gate was openned, everybody ran to the superman and we got lucky we got there early, heheheheh!!!
